Paint Protection Film
Invisible urethane armor against rocks, salt, sand, and UV. Self-healing topcoat. 10-year warranty.
Take the impact your paint shouldn't.
Paint Protection Film is a 6–8 mil clear urethane laminate cut and installed over your factory paint. It absorbs rock chips, road debris, salt spray, and minor abrasion that would otherwise reach the clear coat.
We install XPEL Ultimate Plus and XPEL Stealth as our primary films. Both carry a self-healing topcoat — small swirl marks and scuff lines disappear with heat from the sun or a warm wash. The Stealth film is matte; perfect for satin-paint cars or owners who want a visual identity change with full protection.
PPF is most valuable in Miami because of three local conditions: aggressive UV that fades unprotected paint, road salt from coastal corrosion, and tropical storm debris that can sandblast a clean finish in one drive.
Coverage is configurable: full front (hood, fenders, mirrors, bumper) is the most common. Track Pack adds rocker panels and door cups. Full body is for owners protecting resale value on $100K+ vehicles.
Coverage levels
- Partial Front — hood leading edge, mirrors, bumper. Entry-level, ~$900
- Full Front — full hood, full fenders, full bumper, mirrors, headlights. ~$1,800
- Track Pack — full front + rocker panels + door cups + A-pillars. ~$2,800
- Full Body — every painted surface. ~$5,500–$8,500 depending on model
- Custom areas: roof, trunk, rear bumper, door edges. Quoted individually.
PPF FAQ
Will PPF yellow over time?
Premium PPF (XPEL, 3M Pro, SunTek Ultra) carries a UV-stable topcoat warrantied 10 years against yellowing. Bargain films will yellow in 3–4 years under Florida sun.
Is PPF visible?
When installed correctly, no — edges are tucked under panel gaps and seams are cut to follow body lines.
Does PPF work over a wrap?
We typically install PPF directly to factory paint. PPF over a wrap is possible but reduces both products' lifespan.
Can PPF be removed?
Yes — a trained installer removes premium PPF cleanly within its warranty window. Bargain films can leave adhesive residue.
How long does install take?
Full front: 1–2 days. Track pack: 2–3 days. Full body: 3–4 days. We bake the cure under controlled conditions before release.
PPF or ceramic coating — which one?
Different jobs. PPF protects against physical impact. Ceramic protects against chemicals and adds gloss. Run them together for full coverage.
